Hi! I'm Ashley Stubblefield 👋 Product Leader, GSD Expert, and all around problem solver.

Currently I am the Lead Product Manager of the Intelligence Platform at Adonis, where I am building out ML and AI solutions to solve big pain-points in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.  Prior to that, I was VP of Product at FEVO, where we re-platformed the entire product suite to scale across over 700 clients, and launched new products and partnerships (like Costco.com). Additional experiences include: The Muse (HR Tech & content), Yieldmo (ad-tech), Birchbox (e-commerce), and Sony (digital distribution platforms). Each of my experiences has provided unique skills, knowledge, and attributes that I bring forward in my career to new roles.

My Specialties
For the last 10+ years, I've focused on launching and scaling startup products & technology into sustainable B2B and B2C SaaS platforms that can grow with the business. I also love building effective Product teams and mentoring PMs (or anyone looking for advice). I'm passionate about Product as a discipline, and equally as passionate about delivering usable, functional products quickly and effectively.

Strategy starts the Flywheel
Good product starts with a solid strategy - you can't measure outcomes if you don't understand what you're trying to achieve, what market forces are at play, and what is going to set you apart.  Once you have a strategy, the roadmap builds from there, features from the roadmap, metrics to measure yourself, and you have a feedback loop on how you are performing against the strategy. Adjust from there and you'll be hitting those goals in no time!

Product, Measure Thyself!
When I think about building new products or features, it all starts with a hypothesis and metrics - why is what we're doing going to get us to our goal? How are we going to measure ourselves to see if we're creating the desired impact? If we think about metrics as the key to building new products, it creates a feedback loop that can lead to optimizing product, and thinking intelligently about not just what to build, but why we're building it.

Let's Get Technical
I believe technical aptitude and the ability to understand technical concepts and trade-offs are key to working successfully with a engineering org (and I don't believe that a CS degree will top experience for understanding different approaches).  The product/engineering/design leadership tripod has been vital in the most successful teams and products I've working on. Collaboration builds and delivers successful, beautiful, functional products.

Process Makes the Product Go Round
Lastly, let's talk process implementation - while there are a multitude of process tools you could implement, every team & organization has unique needs, so finding the right process is a matter of implementation, reflection, and iteration, until you have a process that works for you. I believe deeply in agile methodology, but to truly be agile, you need to be iterating on your process, and measuring yourself and your team with meaningful metrics, not just code shipped.

Not Just a One Trick Pony
Outside of work, I love reading (mostly sci-fi), cross-stitching, travel, cooking, video games, and a fine aged whiskey.
